Eight recipients of the Glenn Buchanan Balanced Man Scholarship were recognized during the annual awards ceremony on August 19, 2011. Presented by the KY Zeta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, the scholarship recognizes students who have exhibited an outstanding balance of success throughout high school. A total of $2,250 in scholarships was awarded to incoming Morehead State University freshmen...

Our chapter, Kentucky Zeta, came home with one of only 9 Gold Buchanan Cups. This is our first Gold Buc Cup, which represents a decade of continued excellence as a chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon. With 250 chapters, and only 10% winning Buchanan Cups. We are truly honored to be considered an elite chapter, the best of the best!

The men of Sigma Phi Epsilon at Morehead State University sent a six-hundred and forty dollar check to their philanthropy, YouthAIDS, this past month on June 24th from the proceeds of their annual "Battle of the Bands." The brother's hosted "Battle of the Bands" in the fall semester of 2010 in Button Auditorium where it turned out to be not only one of the largest, but most successful in their chapter history. The SigEp/YouthAIDS partnership provides a platform for U. S. students to become involved and educated in the fight against HIV/AIDS. With a presence on more than 260 college campuses across the United States and an undergraduate membership of more than 14,000 students, Sigma Phi Epsilon allows YouthAIDS to reach out to hundreds of thousands of college students.
